The Poster is getting a lot of attention ... xx Jean
Everybody's buzzing
Wondering? What's going on?
It's the St Ann's Gathering
Time flies by it won't be long (July 2nd 2014)
We'll all have name badges
When we sign in
Just to see who's who
It will be smiles all around
At faces we once knew
Remember how we laughed
Remember how we played
We might have left our homes
But the St Ann's love has stayed
There will be lots of photos
And a map of where we lived
Tombola, Music and Friends
It's going to be fun,
From beginning till the end
So come and join this "Happy Throng "
All pals together, we can't go wrong

THE FIRST GATHERING WAS JULY 2013
ST ANN'S GATHERING
From the moment I set my foot in Stonebridge City Farm I couldn’t believe what I saw Roy, Beryl and Brenda Morris, greeting us at door Tony and Ann were busy, organizing photos on the boards Angie Miles set out a table, with prints of her paintings (you could afford) Name stickers got us chatting, there was photos everywhere I had to pinch myself......was I really there? Sid Wheeldon was sorting the raffle, with Kath and Mary When just at that moment I saw Pat Seery Her brothers Cyril and Terry and the lovely girls All of these people, my mind was in a whirl Mavis Baker surprised by her Presentation With her Husband John - here for the celebration They planted a rose bush....with St Ann’s Pride When the afternoon was over I could have cried Not with sadness that the time had gone But for TONY MILLER he’s second to none Because when I saw him with his Plaque I wanted to pat him on the back And say dear Tony......you have so many fans We have something in common We are all from ST ANNS !! |

"I saw so many people from St Ann's...
This poem came into my head about an hour ago. I could bin it, then I thought of how much I enjoyed the day.
(I won’t mention all your names you know who you are)............ x I hope you like it…. love Jean July 5th 2013"
